Use of Facebook social plugins using the "2-click solution"

So-called social plugins ("plugins") of social networks are used on our website. To increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the plugins are integrated into the page using a so-called "2-click solution". 9. Competitions on Facebook

When you take part in a competition on Facebook, we initially process the following data from you:

  • Public Facebook profile information incl. user name
  • Facebook comment submitted (text & image)

The personal data is processed in order to carry out the competition: on the one hand to check eligibility to participate, on the other hand to determine the winners by e-mail.

Participation in the competition is only possible if you provide us with the data mentioned, as otherwise it is not possible to contact you in the event of a prize notification.

As part of the competitions, we ask winners for the following data:

  • Surname, first name
  • Address

This data is used exclusively for the purpose of delivering the prize. For this purpose, we transmit the data to a shipping service. Please note that the prize cannot be delivered without this data.

Legal bases

The legal bases for the processing of personal data are, on the one hand, your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and, on the other hand, the performance of a contractual obligation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Recipients of personal data

As a matter of principle, your data will not be passed on to third parties. The winner's address data is passed on to a shipping service provider for the delivery of the prize. We will not pass on your data to any other third parties without your explicit consent.

Storage period

We delete the data collected in the competition no later than three weeks after the end of the competition (determination of the winners).
